CARBON is a polymorphous element found in nature, one of the forms
of which is graphite. CARBON is a natural insulator with antistatic powers,
and another property is that it makes things shiny on contact – think
of the shine of graphite released from a pencil. Bearing in mind this
property we have coated the magnesium rods with a thin layer of carbon, applied
at a temperature of 350° C. As this coating is formed from an insulating
material, hair running over it is protected from the stress of direct
contact with hot metal parts. In this brush, the thermal mass that receives
heat from the hair-drier is the NET located inside the group of rods. The
latter, covered with CARBON, only remain warm and keep the hair from coming
into contact with the net, from which they only receive heat by induction.
You will notice the shiny look produced by the CARBON coating after hair
has been dried.
